Hanifia famous burger
Recipe
Ingredients:
boneless chicken or hunter beef half kg
Finely chopped onion 2 medium
chopped tomatoes 4 medium
ginger paste 1 tbsp
garlic paste 1 tbsp
red chili powder 2 tbsp cook it
salt to taste
oil 3 tbsp
For assembling:
buns
butter
hanifia sauce or mayonnaise
cheese slices
tomatoes sliced
cucumber sliced
Method:
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in sauce pan.
- Add onion and fry till smell goes and become light pinkish in color.
- Add ginger garlic paste and stir for few seconds.
- Add chicken or beef and cook it on high flame, when chicken or beef change its color turn the flame on medium heat.[ if using beef then let it done completely]
- Now add tomatoes,red chilli powder and salt. Fry it for few seconds.
- Let it cook till chicken gets tender and soft.
- Add remaining 2 tbsp oil in it and fry it for one minute.
- Turn the stove off and let it cool.
- Shred the chicken or beef with fork within the mixture and its ready to use.
Assembling:
- Spread butter on bun and toast it on non stick pan from inside only.
- Now spread hanifia's sauce generously [only karachi people can get the sauce from their shops rest can use mayo] or mayonnaise on bun's both sides.
- Add chicken or beef mixture on bun, put cheese slice, tomato slice and cucumber slice on it, Cover it with other half of bun.
- Toast it once again on low flame till cheese melts.
- Ready to enjoy.
Must try it very simple but yummy recipe. I have tried it many times and every time I get WOW YUMMY compliment.
