Yummy Meat Pie

Meat Pie

Dough Ingredients:

Flour (maida) 4 cups
Yeast 1 packet
Lukewarm water 1/4 cup 
Egg 1
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tsp
oil 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. In warm water add sugar and yeast mix them well and leave it for raising.
  2. In a big bowl take flour, salt, egg and raised yeast. Mix them well and make soft dough by adding water as required. Add oil to make it more softer.  
  3. Cover the dough and keep it aside to any warm place or you can keep it in cabinet for at least an hour to raise.   
  4. Grease pizza pan first, roll the dough and put it in pizza pan or in any thali.
  5. Roll a dough and cut thin stripes of it and keep it a side. 

Filling Ingredients:

Meat (beef) (under cut)1 pao
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp heaped
Freshly crushed black pepper 1 tsp or as you like
Salt to taste
Onion finely chopped 1 medium
Oil 2 tbsp

 Method:


  1. In a sauce pan heat oil and add meat saute till meat change its color (on high flame)
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and salt to it and stir them well. 
  3. Cover it and let it cook on slow flame till meat gets tender. ( if needed you can can water into it)
  4. When meat become tender add crushed black pepper and finely chopped onion, saute till water dries.
  5. Let it cool and add it to chopper to shred. 

Sauce Ingredients:

Tomatoes chopped  2
Finely chopped garlic 1 tsp
Finely chopped onion 1 small
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oregano quarter tsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
White Vinegar 1 tsp

Method:  


  1. Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion an saute till become transparent (do not fry too much).
  2. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder and paprika powder into it. Stir and let it cook for 2 minutes or till oil comes on surface of the mixture.
  3. Let it cool and blend it into blender till smooth paste, now add oregano and white vinegar to it and its ready to use.
Note: You can keep this sauce in fridge for a week.

Assembling:  


Spread sauce on rolled pizza dough then add meat filling on it. Sprinkle Cheddar and mozzarella shredded cheese on the top, cover pie with long cutted dough stripes in criss cross. Brush egg on it and bake it in preheated oven on 180 degree for 20 minutes.
(You can make 2 big or 3 small pie in this quantity)
